Mel Giedroyc is married to a television director and teacher at LAMDA, Ben Morris. The couple first met during a dinner party since then their love story began and they have feelings for each other. They decided to marry in 2002 after dating for over two years.

Ben Morris is a television director and a teacher at the Hammersmith’s London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

The actress, 55, and Ben Morris have gone through a tough time when they were almost bankrupt and forced to panic-sell their house and move into a rented flat with children, Florence and Vita.

The TV presenter explained, “We had basically borrowed far too much money to buy a house we couldn’t afford – and then we lost it.”

Further, she added, “I had a horrific feeling for about a year of sleepless nights, thinking, “We’re in a situation we can’t afford.”

As a television presenter, Mel has worked in a number of shows across BBC and Channel 4. She is the daughter of Michal, an aircraft designer, and civil engineer, was of Polish-Lithuanian descent, and of Rosemary.

Giedroyc is the youngest of four in her family and has three siblings two sisters,  Coky Giedroyc and Kasia Param, and a brother Miko Giedroyc.

Mel’s first daughter Florence was born shortly after she married her husband and after two years, Mel Gieldroyc welcomed her second daughter Vira Morris.

Mel Giedroyc is currently 55 years old as of 2023 and she is best known for working on a number of television series including, Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable, The Great British Bake Off, Mel and Sue and Hitman.
